About us

The Official College of Biologists of the Comunitat Valenciana (COBCV) was established on 19 May 2000 as a non-profit public corporation. Its purpose is to defend, represent and promote the development of the biology profession in the Valencian Community.

+20 YEARS OF HISTORY

Originally part of the national structure, the COBCV became a regional entity in accordance with the Statute of Autonomy.

It is a full member of the General Council of Official Colleges of Biologists of Spain, actively defending the interests of biologists at both regional and national levels.

COBCV brings together professionals working in ecology, biodiversity, genetics, biochemistry, nutrition and health, education, business, and spatial planning.
