Are you up for participating during the eclipse of August 12, 2026?

We are organizing a pioneering Citizen Science project to film the reactions of animals during solar eclipses (TriEclipse Project).

The first phase of the project will take place during the total eclipse of August 12, 2026. It will then continue with the eclipse of August 2, 2027, and conclude with the one on January 26, 2028.

Thanks to the collaboration of observers equipped with cameras throughout Spain, we will collect recordings to analyze the possible responses of animals and broadcast the first impressions live on our YouTube channel on August 15.

After the three eclipses, we will publish a documentary with the best videos and the results obtained thanks to the collaboration of all participants.
