Spain is taking a crucial step toward strengthening its healthcare system by promoting the creation of two new Specialized Healthcare Training (FSE) specialties for our profession via the BIR (Best Resident) program: Laboratory Genetics and Clinical Embryology. This is a long-awaited advancement for professionals, scientific societies, and patients, formally recognizing highly specialized areas of knowledge with a direct impact on public health and healthcare quality.
