The Fernando González Bernáldez Foundation Offers Free Courses on Protected Area Management

The Protected Areas School is a continuing education program developed by the Fernando González Bernáldez Foundation | EUROPARC-Spain to train, update, and develop all those who work or wish to work professionally in protected areas and their surrounding communities.

In February, a course on ‘Public Use and Sustainable Tourism in Protected Areas’ is scheduled; in May, a specific training course on ‘Connectivity and Ecological Restoration in Protected Areas’ will begin; and in October, another on ‘Governance Models for Protected Areas’ will be offered.

The courses are free, aimed at practicing professionals, and admission is on a first-come, first-served basis.
