València will host the 19th IWA World Conference on Anaerobic Digestion (IWA AD19), an international meeting dedicated to anaerobic digestion and its applications in the ecological and energy transition.

This year's edition features more than 700 scientific papers submitted from 50 countries, reflecting the growing global interest in anaerobic digestion as a key technology for renewable energy production, waste recovery, and bioproduct generation.

The event is institutionally supported by the Third Vice-Presidency and the Ministry of Environment, Infrastructure, Territory and Recovery, as well as the Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities. In addition, companies such as Veolia, FACSA, SITRA, Global Omnium, Ingelia, Aqualia, Acciona, Anaero Technology, NS Instruments, BPC Instruments, AQLARA, Ciclagua and Genia participate, reinforcing the link between research, innovation, and industrial application.
